Hello! Work has been dreadfully busy and now I'm shockingly behind on timely answering intriguing posts. How's that for a sentence? :)
Anyway, Fringe...
Good point that if blue fringe isn't restored, those characters are essentially dead. But...
I hope the characters do not have exact memories of the blue fringe verse. I like that only Peter will have those memories because it's fitting that he would have a special memory. Except for Walter, doesn't it seem the characters are "better off" without Peter? Or, I should say without Peter in their actual lives but they still have Peter in their soul. Yeah, whatever that means! I don't think Amber olivia will ever be as tormented as blue Olivia. That step-father really did a number on Olivia and I must say, I like that Olivia doesn't have him around to haunt her. It seems to me that she killed him and now hardly spares him a passing thought.
Wonder where her sister and niece are?
I know people are using the 'reboot' or 'reset' term to describe this but it's not. I look forward to the relationships being built again. This show, in many respects, is about love. All the different forms of it and I love that about it. Even Broyles says something about people who leave indelible prints on one's soul and I was suprised he said that.
So much about souls in this show...soul magnets, etc.
I don't want Fringe to go back to the blue verse. I think Olivia will love Peter but she won't remember exactly how or why. That could be an interesting question. Also intriguing is that amber Olivia is definitely not the same as blue Olivia. Peter loved blue Olivia - will he love amber Olivia as well? I mean they are the same person but then again they're not.
I actually hope Amber Olivia and Alt-olivia become friendly.
Even though I didn't care for baby Henry (not sure why the kid did nothing to me!), I'm sad that Alt-Olivia no longer has the baby she loved so much. Will she have that indelible print on her soul?
Argh! So many good questions! Damn baseball for making me wait another week!!!
I read somewhere that Peter really is the heart of Fringe. I've missed him!
Sorry this was so rambly. I have lots of Fringe thoughts!
