Season 1 can be appreciated only in retrospect, because it contains so many seeds of the future. By pure chance, when it aired here for the first time, the network choose to skip it entirely, so I started watching when it was already in the thick of events. So I understand how you might not be thrilled about it, but I can promise you that if you keep up... the faith :-) it will be a rewarding journey.
