Farscape Kink Meme?

There isn’t one, is there?

I’d love to see one with prompts and fills for characters including but not limited to John/Aeryn. I’ve nothing against John/Aeryn, but most of the Farscape fic out there, especially the smut, already reads like their personal kink meme. I’m dying for variety.

I’d write my own but find smut is like a sandwich, so much tastier when someone else makes it for you.

Do you think there'd be enough interest in something like this to keep it going? I'm tempted to start a comm here, for entries G to NC-17, but I think I'm too scattered to run something like that. And lazy. Very lazy. So I'm posting in hopes someone else will say, hey, I'll do it...

I think I understand what you have in mind, and I certainly understand what you mean about J/A smut (OMG, sorry, I've just gone and added to it...). Is there a definition somewhere for 'kink meme?'

I seem to be no good at writing smut, myself, and too busy to run it, but yes, I'll add my interest to yours.

A kink meme, according to TVTropes:
Kink Meme
A fandom and shipping phenomenon, most of them based on Livejournal. A Kink Meme is where a user (usually anonymously, though the rules on this differ between kink memes) posts both a pairing and a kink. Another user then anonymously fills this request with either art or Fan Fic.

While Kink Memes, true to their name, usually contain plenty of smut, it is usually permissible to request Fluff or drama fic with no sex as well.

So, for instance, someone could request anything from Scorpius & Sikozu courting 40's style to John/Aeryn frelling on a desert island to a graphic John/Aeryn/Chiana/D'Argo orgy to Rygel/John and whipped cream, and someone can write it for you.

I like the idea of being able to choose anonymity or not. I'm not sure if that's available on LJ comms or not.

I'm also wondering if there are enough people willing to fill non J/A prompts...I'd be willing to fill some J/A ones, so maybe there are other charitable souls out there =D

I would definitely join if you (or someone) made it. But I'm not a writer in any way, shape or form, so I would just end up prompting forever and ever!
And it would definitely be nice to seem some more stuff in addition to all the J/A stuff, agreed.

I casually check out one for another fandom I'm in, and they can definitely be fun and cracky. And I've also seen some prompts lead to fills that can some of the best fics in the fandom, so you never know what kind of things can come from them I guess!

(Also there is an anon option on LJ for communities. Thankfully!)

I casually check out one for another fandom I'm in, and they can definitely be fun and cracky. And I've also seen some prompts lead to fills that can some of the best fics in the fandom, so you never know what kind of things can come from them I guess!

I've experienced this too in other fandoms, not part of a "kink meme" per se, but from odd challenges and requests...they can result in wonderful stories of all kinds.

It's not boring, it's a necessity in something like this ;) I assume most of the prompts will be for J/A, and so we'll need talented souls like you to help fill them...

I'd participate! But truthfully, I'd like the option to post as myself, as I'd a) like credit if I fill a prompt, and b) I'm not shy about my kinks. :D

I would like an option as well, and think that is the best route. I would probably post half and half, myself.

I think anonymity is a good option for those who are shyer, and for those that may want to fill a prompt outside of their usual pairing or style.

I am losing so much steam with Club Farscape it's sad...I want to be doing it, but I think the 3 months is too long for me. I won't be signing up for the next round, just concentrating on my icon communities...and possibly kink memes ;)

Yeah, it's funny how a great show has such a small following.
I mean, I follow a lot of fandoms, and I've only come across two that are small. And that is Andromeda and the A-Team. I think I should say three though, to include Farscape.
