Thank you SO much for the detailed feedback! I know you're really busy right now and appreciate the time and effort :) And I do feel better about them now - I think I wasn't feeling them because my expectations were way too high. It's my favorite episode (I like to say ...Different Destinations owns my brain, while John Quixote owns my heart) and I love making icons and have put off claiming this for so long...I wanted them to not just be good, but THE BEST ICONS EVER. That's quite the unreasonable and unrealistic goal LOL

I also underestimated how hard the episode itself would be to work with. I have more trouble with S4 than 1-3, in part because of the film quality and lighting differences, and here it seemed difficult to get the shots I wanted...invariably their faces would be too small, or too dark to see...I love the scene at the end when they fall out of the game and she hugs him and that was impossible (for me) to icon :(

But all in all I am feeling much better about them now, and I did my best, and that's a very good feeling :)

I'm having major trouble with my set right now. I have to redo like half of them because I keep producing nothing but amateurish-looking dren D: I also have discovered that I hate making Upside Down icons as much as you dislike Levels - I just don't see their point! So in a way it's good to hear I'm not the only one to whom this round has been a bit rocky. It's not the themes, like you said, it's just... something, probably the pressure from people liking the last set so much.

Aw.. *hugs* I can assure you that they will be neither amateurish nor dren and performance anxiety is a bitch, but you're very good at icons. I can't wait to see them.

I almost did a Levels on purpose for my Jool set...so maybe you will be okay with Upside Down in the future ;)
