Mini Farscape Vid: Telephone (Aeryn, Chi)

Soooo.....

I fully intended to vid the whole song, equally split between John & Aeryn and Chi & D'Argo.  The first minute was laid down in about an hour and I was quite pleased with it.  In trying to vid the refrain I realized that there was no where near enough Chi/D'Argo footage to support a balanced vid (see last night's moaning) and I tried chopping out the refrains and laid down clips for the next verse but it looked and sounded like garbage without the padding of the refrains.  And since I really didn't want to make a J/A vid with a dash of C/D, I decided to cut my losses; but I thought someone might enjoy seeing this first minute :)

Beautiful! Loved it very much and I hope you will find the way to finish it, because the energy of the song flows very well with your pacing of the clips.

Cutting a song can be a real nightmare, I know, but no one says that you have to manage it *now*: wait for a while, and the inspiration on how to do that and what to use will come to you.

With the brilliant results we expect from you :-)

I'll never say never, but at this point I have no plans to finish it because the refrains would have to be entirely J/A, and while C/D could share the verses...the chronological flow would be off. Cutting seems to be off the table, unfortunately, because Beyonce sings the next verse, and the difference in sound is insane (and not in a good way ;) It really needs some padding.

But we'll see. Maybe I'll get good enough to plug in another, shorter instrumental bit or something :)
