FBI Agent Bert Macklin was the best they ever had until he was framed for a crime he didn't commit: stealing the President's rubies from a Noatian gem mine. For twenty-two cycles the fearless and forthright Macklin has worked to clear his name by searching for Joolushko Hovalis, an exotic young woman who disappeared along with the treasure. For twenty-two cycles Macklin has believed Joolushko acted alone...until he encounters her former flatmate, the enigmatic Janet Snakehole.

Though I don't know the crossover show you used here, and therefore I must have lost some nuances here, I enjoyed very much the tone of your blurb: it sounded exactly like those '50s and '60s trailers, all hype and booming voices, with promises of adventure, danger and dark tidings :-)

The show itself is Parks & Recreation, a comedy about the Parks Department of a small American town. It is WONDERFUL. The first season is a bit uneven and unfunny in places, but then they dump this one character/story thread and it's just...perfect. So, so funny, and with SO much heart. Most of the humor is very kind and light as opposed to dark and sarcastic, and there's a heavy focus on friendships. It's something I think you'd really enjoy.

Bert Macklin (the best FBI agent ever until he was framed for stealing the president's rubies) and Janet Snakehole (a very rich widow with a terrible secret) are the altar egos of two of the Parks employees, April & Andy. So this isn't a real show, as such...but I REALLY wish it were =D
