Farscape Picspam: Jeremiah Crichton

Jeremiah Crichton in ten pictures.

I'd say this was arguably the worst episode of the series, but I don't know who would argue it isn't. Maybe people who really, really, REALLY hate DALD.

- Feedback is lovely :-)

I like this a lot, I think you captured the essence of this episode wonderfully, nicely summing it up with Aeryn’s look in the end ;)

Now I almost want to watch the episode again. Almost. :)

I love the pic with Crichton reclining on the module. Pretty, pretty sky!

And I just had a revelation (I'm slow, you see) - now I know where Crichton's original pants went! Duh!

LOL,

Fake beard is fake! LOL

I haven't watched this episode in years, it probably is my least fav in Season 1 apart from Rhapsody in Blue.

I want to make an icon from that Rygel cap. Just the way you coloured it.

LOL about the pants, I actually never thought about that either...however if it means that leather was in after this, I am all for it!

Great picspam again...my gosh that beard is rdiculous, what were they thinking? Aeryn's face is priceless in the last one.

I must honestly say that your picspam is way better than the actual ep! :DD

I stand by the rule that even the worst Farscape episode is a notch above the best in other shows. And yes, I'm a tiny bit biased... :-D

That stated, I laughed out loud in seeing Aeryn's expression just after four funny-beard shots: it looked almost as a commentary on the appearance of that beard! LOL Brilliant....

There's one big (IMHO) saving grace in this episode: the soundtrack. It's one of the best from the first soundtrack CD.

Great picspam! TFS

Oddly enough, JC appeals to the part of me that loves ridiculous things like Universal Soldier and Gilligan's Island. It's nowhere near one of my favourite eps, but as my favourite eps all tend to be universally depressing, I like the happy ending, bright colours and badness of this ep. Feels good that they come back for John and that the womrn get to do some awesome saving-the-menfolk.

That beard really is terrible though.

Oh, Jeremiah Crichton isn't the worst. Vitas Mortis is slightly worse IMO... :P At least JC has all the pretty scenery, which makes it just PERFECT for a picspam! Wow, these are beyond pretty! Love the colors and light and softness and everything. The pic choices are perfect too.

Okay, trying to pick favorites is hard (I really like all of them), but I'd give that honor at least to 2 (I LOVE the background, the color is gorgeous and I don't know it it's the case but it sort of looks like you've used some sort of slight radial blur, it's awesome), 3 (the whole shot is really pretty, I love the colors of the sea and sky), 4 (the planet is wow), and 5 ( I love what you did with the light and contrast). Also, the last one is weirdly hilarious.

Lovely job!

Hi. I enjoyed some ideas in the episode, Zhaan and Aeryn, the soundtrack and these caps all much more than I actually enjoyed the complete episode. :p

Oh - and I love DALD. Prime Chi, Zhaan, Ryge. What a coincidence that it got the least inspired plot in the whole series. But Chi, Zhaan and Ryge are still awesome in it. So I love it dearly.

Someone else has tried defending DALD?? I am now happier. Maybe because it didn't feature the star it didn't get that much effort. Very funny way of putting it "a film noir spin, instead of Law & Order" and it is exactly what was needed. JC was out right misfire. The ferret on his chin is funny but mainly the problem is defaulting to standard television mode with the tribe and things. Kind of like Farscape if produced by The Lost World people. Thankfully that would be a rare problem in Farscape!
