Thank you! You should give it a try...it took longer than I anticipated but I think it's because it was a)my first time and b)I chose an episode I wasn't overly familiar with, hoping that would make it more interesting. Next time I'm going with one I have committed to memory ;)

LOL, I've got SG1 playing and *as I'm typing this* your icon and the Baal on my tv are one and the same ;) I decided to get all of his episodes and watch them in order.

Watching in order is a good idea, because there is a character arc. It's not as developed as, say, Crais', but he becomes more personable, more likeable. I'm dying to know what you think of him :D

Yeah, I've thought of snurching some theme sets from other places for a Chi set, but keep getting distracted. I'm going to try my hand at some Eat Me icons in honor of Halloween, but really should be writing and finishing up my WIP before NaNo...but icons are so shiny and fun...

I've now seen his first 4 appearances (grabbing more this weekend) and have already come to the conclusion that he is, as you said in a post i was responding to before I remembered this one, "sex on legs".

I'm still not warming to SG1 in general (to be honest, I find it teeth-grindingly dull) but the instant Baal appears on screen he captivates me. Even when he was munching on a lizard, I was like yum He's got an undeniable magnetism and since he's opposite the characters I find really boring, I'm like yay! Go evil! ;)

I signed up for stargateland instead, which is proving to be rather fun. There's a fanmix challenge that I'm thinking of playing with. I may or may not manage the 'shipper manifesto - I don't think I'm in a meta sort of mood, LOL.

I'm going to try and get my latest WIP done before NaNo. I have what was supposed to be a relatively short fic that's rapidly turning into a novella *sighs at Baal* Could we stick to the plan just once? Is that really so much to ask? (It is, apparently)

Talking of, he really is fun, isn't he? And yes, absolutely captivating. As for being sexy... yeah, just a bit *fans self* (I've no idea what that was about, but I'm not overly bothered about explanations strangely enough)
