Too little Farscape

arevhatI'm working on a video and trying to balance John/Aeryn with Chiana/D'Argo and find myself once again bemoaning the fact that Farscape episodes aren't 90 minutes long.
I don't want a moment less of John & Aeryn but I want so much more of everyone else...it is very frustrating. Every single character is so rich and deserving of screen time, even the ones I don't particularly like...sometimes I feel like John & Aeryn are such lucky bastards, having the lion's share of screen time to have their stories so well and completely told. They are absolutely deserving, but no more or less than Chiana, Rygel, D'Argo, Pilot, Sikozu, Stark, Jool, Crais, Noranti, Scorpius, Braca, Zhaan, etc.
Fanfiction works miracles in this regard, and the stories I love become seamlessly incorporated into the series in my mind...and what isn't canon fills countless, marvelous unrealized realities and I feel completely satisfied with that. But when I'm vidding, sometimes the lack of footage is so frustrating. Chi & D'Argo have an evolution and depth to their relationship too, but it occurs in such small moments, with so much left for us to flesh out. Wonderful in a way for fic, not so wonderful for vidding.
On a related note, Aeryn Sun is made of awesome. I always feel that way, but sometimes it's nice to have that giddy OMG-I-Want-To-Marry-Her euphoria flare up LOL.
